In short
Most bridal boutiques order a standard size and alter it to fit. We make your dress to your own measurements from the start.
Made to measure, not just made to order
When you buy a designer wedding dress from a boutique, it is usually made to order: a new dress is produced in the size closest to your measurements, and then altered - often over several fittings - to fit you.
At Aeternum, every gown is cut and sewn to your own measurements. Because it is made for you, most brides need no alterations at all.
And because there is no showroom and no middlemen, you pay for the dress and the craftsmanship, not the boutique.

Delivered
Your dress arrives at your door with free tracked delivery worldwide - typically within 12-16 weeks.

What to expect, and when
Week 0
Consultation and order
We talk through your chosen dress and confirm every detail. Your order is then placed, with the option to spread the cost over 3, 6 or 12 months.
Week 1
Measurements confirmed
You submit your measurements using our guide, and we check them with you before anything is cut.
Weeks 2-12
Handmade in our workshop
Your gown is cut, sewn and hand-finished by skilled artisans. We keep you updated as it takes shape.
Weeks 12-16
Delivered to your door
Dispatched with free, tracked delivery, anywhere in the world.
We recommend ordering at least five to six months before your wedding.
Wedding sooner?
Our express service can often bring your gown forward in our workshop, subject to our schedule at the time of your order. Share your date and we will confirm what is possible.

Before you order
Share your wedding date first
Tell us your date before you fall in love with a dress, so we can confirm it can be made in good time - or arrange our express service if your wedding is sooner.
Accurate measurements matter
Your dress is made to the measurements you give us. Please take them ideally with a local seamstress or tailor for accuracy, and we check them with you before production.
A fit made for you
Because your gown is made to your measurements, most brides need no alterations at all. If a small final touch is ever needed, any seamstress near you can help.
