About Aeternum

Aeternum creates bespoke luxury wedding dresses for brides-to-be, whether it is for your ceremony or reception we have a design that you will love! You can either choose from a vast selection of bespoke dresses or design your own dream wedding dress from scratch.
We are based in London, England. We do, however, make dresses for brides all over the world.
We do not have a shop and we do not hold stock. All dresses are fully made to your measurements, whether for one of our designs or your own; this is why we are able to offer such competitive prices. We will be happy to arrange an appointment in central London if you would like to meet. Our aim is to keep the overheads as low as possible whilst providing outstanding quality dresses.

Dress Making Process

Step 1: CHOOSE

You choose from our vast collection of luxury bespoke wedding dresses or design your own dream dress! Whether you choose one of our existing designs or whether you prefer to go fully bespoke, we will assist you every step of the way. If you wish to design your own wedding dress then please feel free to send us images of your inspiration or any ideas you might have and we will work with you to bring your dream dress to life.

Step 2: MEASURE

We believe that your wedding dress should be made to your specific measurements which is why we do not make dresses in standard sizes. Instead we create your dream dress to suit your unique figure based on the measurements provided. We can link you with our trusted seamstresses in London, UK if convenient. Alternatively, you can use an experienced seamstress in your area. Many brides also choose to simply have a friend take their measurements which is also possible and we will provide detailed instructions specific to your dress design should this be your preferred route.

Step 3: DELIVER

Your dream wedding dress will be made to your measurements and delivered to your door!

For existing collections your dress will be delivered to you within 3-4 months depending on the season and complexity of the design.

If you choose to design your own dress, it will be delivered to you within 5-6 months. Generally, we would allow for up to 1 month for the design process, 3-4 months for production and recommend allowing up to 2 months for the alternation period. If you would like to design your own dress, we would recommend starting the process at least 7-8 months prior to your wedding day.

Step 4: ALTER

Once your dress has been made it is standard practice for some alterations to be required, irrespective of whether you order your dress from a high street store or Aeternum Bridal. We have partnered with one of the leading seamstresses in London who work for the likes of Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Hermes and Prada to both measure our brides-to-be and alter their dresses, if required. We welcome all our brides to have the alterations done here and we will cover the cost of up to two simple alterations. If London is not convenient for you, please make alternative arrangements with an experienced seamstress near you (in this case you will be responsible for the cost of any alterations).

You can send us an email, request a call back or book a consultation meeting and we will walk you through the process.
Whether you have chosen one of our designs or creating your own dress from scratch, the whole process is conducted via emails and phone calls though we are more than happy to meet in London at any stage.
We do not create replicas or copy designs. It is best if you can send us your inspiration photos and we can combine designs of different dresses to create your own bespoke wedding dress. Some of the materials may also differ from the dress you like, this is especially true for the lace material that may not be readily available. However, we will try our best to source similar material to bring your dream dress to life.

For one of our bespoke designs, we will keep you updated on the status of your dress being made and delivered to you.

If you choose to design your own dress, then we will keep you updated every step of the way, starting from the sketch showing the design before it goes into our workshop for production, then a photo of the mock dress and a photo of the final dress before it is delivered to you.

Fit and Measurements

We have a good selection of photos of each dress along with videos for certain collections which cover all the details. If you decide to design your own dress, then we will communicate all the details of the dress to you including a sketch of the dress before it goes into production, a photo of the mock dress and a photo of the final dress before it is delivered to you.

General Services

We source the finest wedding dresses from workshops all over Europe. All dresses will have our luxury Aeternum brand label and packaging. A small number of dresses may include a workshop’s own label as well.

In order to be able to offer dresses at competitive prices for our brides, we make dresses within the standard palette of bridal colours. Our workshops have pretty much any kind of lace one could imagine but for extremely intricate designs or to try on a dress at various stages of the design process we would recommend seeking a local couture atelier. We do this in order to keep the costs as low as possible for those who choose to order their dress from Aeternum.
