How to Prepare for Your Wedding Dress Video Consultation
Share
A video consultation is where your dress really comes to life. It is relaxed, one-to-one and completely without obligation - and a little preparation will help you get the most from it.
Before the call
- Shortlist your favourites. Pick two to five dresses you love from our collections, and note what draws you to each one.
- Save inspiration. Screenshots of necklines, sleeves or backs you love are incredibly helpful.
- Know your date and venue. Your wedding date decides your timeline, and your venue helps us suggest the right fabric and silhouette.
- Think about your budget. Being open about it helps us point you to the right dresses.
Questions worth asking
- How does this fabric look and feel in person?
- How is the bodice structured, and what support does it give?
- Can any details be adapted - sleeves, neckline, train length?
- Are there detachable pieces, and how do they fasten?
- When would my dress arrive if I order now?
During the call
Find a quiet spot with good light and a stable connection. Many brides like to have their mum, a sister or a best friend with them. We will talk through each dress, answer every question and explain exactly what happens next.
After the call
Take your time. There is no pressure to decide on the spot. When you are ready, we will guide you through ordering and send our step-by-step measurement guide.
Our founder, Kate, is personally involved in every consultation. Book your video call at a time that suits you - morning, afternoon or evening, whatever your time zone.
Every Aeternum gown is made to your exact measurements by our European workshops, with free tracked delivery worldwide. Explore the collections or book a video call with Kate.
